A good week

Postby Wiley coyote's mom » Fri Apr 08, 2005 1:14 pm

Wiley c came through his dental with flying colors. :D No extractions! Doc thought he saw a bad tooth but it was fine. He came from the back of the hospital pulling and wagging his tail. At first he couldn't find me. Mostly all he hears now is my high piched whistle. [thank heaven for hand signals I know his eyes are still good.] So he was pulling the attendant into diffrent rooms looking for the whistle, smiling all the time. I believe his perkiness and good recovery was because of putting him on an IV and fluids while he was under. Doc said he would recomend it with old kidneys, always. What a diffrence. He felt great. With that and spring finally here in IL Wiley c is a happy little guy, galloping up and down the street and sniffing the wind for long periods :D lol:

Hooray!!
I would have been so nervous. Sounds like you have a great vet. Wiley sounds so cute looking for you in the different rooms.

I know what you mean with the hand signals - they really help.

I use hand signals with voice on Zac. Sometimes, in a crowded room, it is easier to give him a hand signal to sit or lie down.

Glad to hear Wiley had a good day. I know each and every good day is a welcomed one when it comes to our "seniors". May he enjoy many more . . .
